Structural Steel Inspection I

Description:
This course will introduce special inspection of structural steel which will include the methods, materials and specifications of structural steel fabrication, bolting and erection. Topics covered include:
» Type and Class of Materials
» Properties of Materials
» Structural Drawings
» Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
» Steel Design
» AISC Manual
» High Strength Bolting


Materials needed:
The following materials will be required for the Structural Steel I class. These materials may be obtained from the recommended suppliers.

Programmed Instruction Book: Introduction to NDT (PI-4-1)

2006 IBC INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE
